The NEW Mountain Television Network is here. With the television station under new local ownership, MTN is growing, changing, and improving every day. The MTN staff has more than tripled under the new ownership, with such great additions as Kyle Grove, Rob Somes, Jenna Johnson, Bryan Ellis, Len Murphy, Rebecca Gardner, and Terry Smith, to go along with the best of the past, Bill Fisher and Sarah Fetterolf. The NEW MTN has now expanded and improved all of its regular programs, with more footage, sports, and news stories than ever before. We now cover all of Watauga, Avery, Ashe, and Eastern Tennessee for high school sports. We now also cover all Appalachian State University and Lees-McRae sports and news. We have the award-winning Historic Hills documentary being produced by our own magnificent Kyle Grove, with new documentaries each month on Shull's Mill, Todd, Linville, and the upcoming Blowing Rock. Historic Hills is on Tuesday nights at 7:30 p.m., and Saturdays and Sundays at 4 p.m. MTN is also producing its own High School Football Friday Night Highlights in our own show called THE ENDZONE, where our MTN crew goes out to film all the area games, and we show all the area high school football highlights in a program hosted by former ASU basketball star Bryan Ellis and former pro football player and coach Terry Smith. The ENDZONE is produced and directed by the incredible Rob Somes and Sarah Fetterolf. THE END ZONE airs live at 11:30 p.m. on Friday nights, and again at 1 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. on Saturday, 1 p.m. and 8 p.m. on Sunday, and 5:30 p.m., 7:30 p.m., 9:30 p.m., and 11:30 p.m. on Monday evenings. MTN also now televises an MTN Football Game of the week every week, with all of the Watauga High school home games and all the Avery High School home games being broadcast in their entirety at 8:30 p.m. on Saturday nights, and 8:30 p.m. on Sunday nights. The filming of these games is under the direction of the amazing Kyle Grove, and are commentated by the incomparable play-by-play man Len Murphy, sideline presenter Jenna Johnson, sideline presenter Rebecca Gardner, and Terry Smith. And of course, we still have Mr. Reliable, the icon of Boone, Bill Fisher, presenting the News, under the direction of the production wizard Sarah Fetterolf. Sitting alongside Bill is the sweetest sports presenter this side of the Rocky Mountains, Jenna Johnson. Bill also does his morning show, and this show will soon be going on location in the upcoming months. Tune in and check out our New Mountain Television Network. We are sure you will like it. And we are just going to keep improving each and every day, a little bit at a time, so that we will be the local television station that you can be very proud of, and the local station that you can turn to in order to see everything that is happening here in the beautiful High Country. THANK YOU for reading our website, and THANK YOU for watching us. Everything we do is aimed at trying to please you.
